Kaler Ranch Holdings consists of the Walking X Ranch in Sheldon, AZ and the San Francisco Ranch in Clifton, Az.
The Walking X has been in continuous operation as a cattle ranch since the 1860'S and it is where the main headquarters is located. There are 1467+/- contiguous deeded acres with deeded access along seven miles of Gila River frontage. At the headquarters are two well maintained historic rock homes, a large set of steel corrals, horse pens, barn, tack house, two apartments and small RV court. The headquarters and most of the domestic/livestock wells are equipped with solar power. The irrigation wells run on electric. There are roughly 100 acres currently under cultivation divided into three fields. The BLM grazing lease consists of one large pasture and a trap that is about 300 acres. The Walking X is well watered with 11 domestic wells, seven irrigation wells, nine miles of pipeline, seven dirt tanks and three springs. The BLM permit carries 143+/- head together with the irrigated pasture the total carrying capacity for the Walking X Ranch is between 450 to 500 head depending on how the irrigated pastures are developed and utilized.
The San Francisco Ranch is totally leased with Blm, State and private acreage leased from Freeport Mine and lies along seven scenic miles of the San Francisco River.
The headquarters has a rock home, steel corrals, tack house/barn and 12-14 acres of formerly irrigated ground. There is a more remote rustic rock house currently used as a line cabin with a barn, corrals and well at this location. There are five domestic/livestock wells all on solar and one irrigation well, there are five springs. San Francisco Ranch has six pastures with three corrals. Both headquarters are powered by solar electric and battery backup. This ranch runs 100+/- head year-round.
All cattle are purebred Black Angus and can be registered. 100 Black Angus Cows, 10 Bulls and equipment may be purchased by private treaty. Contact broker for equipment list.
