River South Plantation is a hunting and fishing property located on the Alapaha River twenty miles northeast of Valdosta, Georgia. This area is known for having some of the best timber growing land in the country and good hunting. The plantation has almost three miles of frontage along the river and 1350 acres of beautiful woodlands, fields, and ponds.
The attractive and well designed main lodge is located on a bluff offering spectacular views of the river. Built in 1989 this lodge contains 6400 square feet with six bedrooms and six full baths, two half baths, formal dining area, large living room with stone fireplace, modern kitchen, laundry and utility room and a three car garage.
