We have not been to this property. We recommend that you study this area in Google Earth or Google Maps (satellite view) to plan your trip. We can see where road easements were graded at one time, but they have become overgrown since nobody has been driving on them.
You should drive an SUV or pickup with at least 8 ply tires. You might be able to find a good way to the property as is, or you might need to re-grade some of the access roads. If you are going to build, then you will have equipment on hand to do this.
The following directions are what seem sensible to us as we look at Google Earth, but you will need to evaluate for yourself.
From Van Horn, go south on Van Horn Drive / US-90 East.
12 miles later at 30.872215, -104.783073 turn right onto Ranch Road 1523.
5.4 miles later continue straight onto Ranch Road 2017 / FM 2017.
2.2 miles later at 30.764409, -104.782675 turn right.
0.13 mile later turn right at 30.764432, -104.784877.
0.24 mile later follow the bend to the left at 30.767750, -104.784997, going west out of the bend.
1.2 miles later turn right at 30.769767, -104.803871.
1.25 miles later you will be at the property.
