The Davy Crockett National Forest historically has produced large white-tailed deer year after year. This property lies right in the heart of that great deer hunting habitat. Ten food plots have been strategically constructed on the property to provide supplemental nutrition to the wildlife and to improve hunting. The food plots also have right-of-ways strategically constructed to provide increased shooting opportunities from blind locations. Most of the food plots also have wildlife orchards growing on them. The orchards consist of pear trees, chestnut trees, and crabapple trees. This tract has produced several deer in excess of 150 inches.
