The founder Stephanie is of Basque descent and named the company to honor her heritage. Her father immigrated from the Basque Country (Southern France and Northern Spain) as a sheepherder in Montana. Stephanie grew up going to Basque festivals in Northern Nevada: Elko, Winnemucca, and Reno. This is the reason she likes to buy and sell land in those areas to people like you.
